Amanda is a South Texas native. She moved her way north to attend Texas A&M University in College Station. She graduated with a Bachelors in Biomedical Science, Class of 2012. Whoop! Although the goal had always been to attend vet school, she came to realize her strengths lay in the more creative roles of veterinary medicine. After moving to Dallas in 2013, she worked her way up the ranks throughout various vet clinics; from Veterinary Assistant, Lead Tech, Practice Manager, and Social Media & Marketing Manager. Through it all, Amanda has always strived to showcase her coworkers’ hard work and love of animals, and celebrate the human-animal bond. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys various crafty hobbies, as well as spending quality time with her husband, Zachary and two kids, Arianna and Ezekiel. Their menagerie includes Layla (mini-rat terrier), Pixie & Lucy (calico bobtail & orange tabby), 5 beautiful Paso Fino horses (Patty, Moon, Quatra, Oro, & Thanks), chickens & guinea fowl, and a large tank of freshwater fish.
