Shannon Kelly, BS, LVT is the Hospital Manager at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center (DVSC) where she combines a decade of experience in veterinary medicine with a passion for education, patient care, and team development.. She earned her degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2013 and began her career working as a zookeeper caring for large carnivores and hoofstock. After several years in animal care, Shannon returned to school to pursue veterinary nursing and graduated from St. Petersburg College in 2019.

Shannon joined DVSC in 2020 and developed a strong interest in anesthesia, surgery, and team training. In 2023, she stepped into the role of Education Coordinator, and in 2025 she became Hospital Manager. Shannon believes that excellent patient care begins with empathy, accountability, strong teamwork, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys reading (often juggling more than one book at a time), exploring new hobbies, and spending time with her two cats, Benedict and Betsy.
