Dr. Adam Breiteneicher is a veterinarian with a passion for advanced surgical procedures. He was born and raised in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area and discovered his love for veterinary medicine at a young age while working as a veterinary assistant. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.

To further his expertise, Dr. Breiteneicher completed a clinical internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He then pursued advanced surgical training through a small animal surgery residency at the same institution. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in professional organizations such as AO Vet and VOS, presenting scientific research and contributing to the Journal of Veterinary Surgery.

Dr. Breiteneicher is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and skills with fellow veterinarians nationwide. He teaches various advanced surgical courses, focusing on fracture repair and stifle surgery. After working as a staff surgeon at a multi-specialty hospital in Austin, Texas, for four years, he established his own veterinary surgical consulting company in 2020. He continues to provide advanced surgical procedures and training to specialty hospitals and University Teaching Hospitals.

His practice encompasses a wide range of specialties, including Orthopedics, Surgical Oncology, Soft Tissue Surgery, and Neurosurgery. Dr. Breiteneicher specializes in minimally invasive techniques such as fracture repair, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and other procedures. He has published recent works on topics such as articular cartilage lesions in the canine stifle and complication rates of perineal urethrostomy.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Breiteneicher resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys fly fishing and resistance training as hobbies, balancing his time between the clinic and his family
